Melinda has more than 30 years of experience in audit and assurance services as well as tax and business consulting work. Melinda works with businesses, management and owners to ensure their audited, reviewed or compiled financial statements are in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and reporting standards.

Melinda works with clients that include privately-owned entities, foreign-owned United States subsidiaries, and businesses with multi-state operations. Her clients also include non-profit organizations and employee benefit plans.

With a focus on employee benefit plan audits, Melinda has earned the Advanced Defined Contributions Plans Audit Certificate from the AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants). The AICPA certification demonstrates the level of employee benefit plan audit experience and commitment to audit quality to plan, perform and evaluate employee benefit plan audits in accordance with the latest AICPA audit standards, U.S. Department of Labor and Internal Revenue requirements. The firm is also a member of the AICPA’s Employee Benefit Plan Audit Quality Center and utilizes the Center’s tools and resources to enhance the quality of the employee benefit plan audits performed.

Melinda earned a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from California State University, Long Beach. Melinda is a Certified Public Accountant in the states of California and Idaho. She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and California Society of Certified Public Accountants.
